5 years…We still remember
I am positive everyone remembers exactly what they were doing when they heard the news. It still feels unreal and I still can’t imagine what the Haitian people went and are still going through mentally, physically and emotionally. I have been posting photos of my Instagram, thought it would be good to share and continue bring awareness to the ongoing issues in Haiti.
I don’t need to have lost someone to be compassionate, sad, frustrated and remember that Haiti still needs my prayer and my support. I am a mother, I a daughter, a sister, a friend, a business etc. A lot of people lost everything or everyone. Today we remember. We remember because it could have been anyone of us.
Not much we can say to the victims but the word of God never fails and that where we can find comfort.
‘God doesn’t come and go. God lasts.
He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.
He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath.
And he knows everything, inside and out.
He energizes those who get tired,
gives fresh strength to dropouts.
For even young people tire and drop out,
young folk in their prime stumble and fall.
But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don’t get tired,
they walk and don’t lag behind.’
May God bless our country and its upcoming generations. GOD IS ABLE!
Be blessed. Count your blessings. Help someone in need.
