This is a Public Service Announcement for all Bob Lovers: The bob is in no danger of going out of style!! Laughing out loud!
Matter of factly, many celebrities are continuing to cut off their long locks for ‘chin’ bobs and the longer ‘demi-bob’.
I read on a website that the bob originated during World War I as women joined the workforce and no longer had time for pin curls and straightening irons. “Cropped hair became of badge of freedom, rebellion, and independence for working women who had also just gained the right to vote,” Scrivo writes, author of ‘Eva Scrivo on Beauty’.
So who can wear the bob? Anyone with a nice jawline and neck will look good in a bob. If you have a round face, a long bob is a better option for you. As for hair texture, bobs work best on thin to medium hair so dont put too much extensions in! Keep it natural my friends lol.
Here we decided to give it more “pop” by adding blond (no27) & layered it softly to give it a ‘fading’ effect. Thx to Karla for sending me these wonderful pictures! I am feeling this gold & colorful-amazon looking necklace. Wonderful!
Enjoy! And have a blessed time with your family & loved ones during this joyful season.
